COVID Policies
I run a COVID-conscious practice. This means that, in order to provide a safe experience for every client and myself, the following guidelines are in place:
What you can do:
Wear a mask if you have been ill within the past 5 days. Otherwise, clients are NOT required to wear a mask inside the studio unless the state masking mandate is reinstated or transmission data changes. I will be happy to wear a KN95 mask for the session upon your request.
Reschedule if you feel ill on the day of your session or are experiencing any of the following symptoms: Fever or chills • Cough, congestion, or runny nose • Vomiting or diarrhea • New skin rash (with fever) OR you have been diagnosed with or exposed to COVID-19 within the last 5 days. Please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment and you will not be charged a cancellation fee if you are canceling due to illness.
Wait at least 5 days after diagnosis or symptoms first occur if you had COVID-19 before coming in for a visit.
What I am doing:
I follow all recommended COVID-19 sanitation precautions for every session. These include:
HEPA air filtration system is running in the studio throughout and between sessions
All high touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized between clients with EPA-registered disinfectants. This includes the table, face cradle, and bolsters.
Strict hand hygiene protocols are in place throughout the day, including before and after each session
All linens are single use for every client
I have been fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID
If COVID and other airborne illnesses spike in the region, I will once again wear a mask during sessions. Why? For 45 minutes or longer, I see clients in close proximity. Many of my clients are immunocompromised or have complex health issues. Some cannot be vaccinated. Also, COVID is airborne and a properly worn mask greatly reduces risk against not just COVID, but also flu, RSV, and colds.
